Valentine’s Deux – A dream date, celebrating Duos of Delight and Tantalyzing Twosomes!
My guy and I would start our day off right at Matt’s Big Breakfast where we would get our brunch on with “The Hog and Chick”, a classically delicious duet. Once we’ve had our fill we’ll set out to spend our day taking in the city; First stop – The Phoenix Art Museum where we’ll be sure to check out Rodin’s bronze sculpture, “The Kiss”, depicting two ill-fated lovers. Now that we’re in the Valentine’s Day spirit, we’ll head for The Burton Barr Library to get cozy with the writings of the well known passionate pairing, “Anais Nin and Henry Miller”. A Spy in the House of Love and Tropic of Cancer really get our hearts racing. Bringing down the pace we take off for the Arizona Science Center where we learn that the structure of DNA is a devoted dyad, “The Double Helix”. Needing a nap, we head for our room at The Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, and hop into our Sweet Sleeper “Double Bed”. Feeling refreshed and ready for a night DT, I slip into my new stylin’ “Nick & Mo” outfit, from Bunky Boutique. On our way to Chase Field to catch the Diamond Backs vs. the Minnesota “Twins”, we’re sidetracked by another favorite couple at Hooters – the “wings and beer”, of course!! Our fabulous day and night end with the Diamondbacks winning the game!! By two points. <3
